At Bunboo London, we adopt a multi-layer cross-verification authentication standard for every item we assess.

Every piece is carefully examined by professionally trained in-house specialists through a meticulous physical inspection process, including evaluation of materials, craftsmanship, embossing, hardware, and comparison against brand reference data.

Additionally, we also utilise Entrupy’s enterprise-leading microscopy technology as a secondary layer of verification.

Authentication is a paid service and typically requires up to 3 working days, depending on item complexity. For further details, please refer to our Authentication Policy.

CERTIFICATIONS

Once authentication is completed, Bunboo London will issue an official digital authentication certificate, sent to you via email.

You may also choose to collect a printed certificate in person, depending on your preference.

Both options are available for your convenience.

In-House Experts Authentication

• Design & Specification Accuracy

- Thoroughly verify dimensions, proportions, and silhouette accuracy

- Examine leather type, colour, and colourway to ensure consistency with official brand specifications

• Craftsmanship & Construction

- Assess overall quality, structure, and balance of the item

- Inspect external stitching craftsmanship and internal materials and cutting accuracy to ensure they meet brand standards

• Hardware & Markings

- Examine the quality and weight of all hardware components, including locks, hooks, and zipper structures

- Verify embossing and stamping, including font style, depth, and placement

• Sensory & Supporting Elements

- Assess leather scent

- Review dust bag material, packaging quality, and authenticity indicators

Entrupy Technology 

We use Entrupy as a supporting authentication tool, providing additional scientific reference alongside manual inspection.

Through high-resolution microscopic imaging and AI-driven data comparison, Entrupy assists in analysing brand-specific characteristics and material structures.

- Compare microscopic features against Entrupy’s internal brand database

• Pattern Recognition

- Analyse material structure, grain distribution, and manufacturing characteristics

- Assist in identifying irregularities that may not be visible to the naked eye

- Generate analytical results as supporting evidence

- Cross-reviewed together with Bunboo’s in-house specialists to reach a final authentication decision
